VIDA PhD alum Benjamin Feuer receives NYU-wide outstanding PhD dissertation award in Science and Technology

VIDA PhD alum Benjamin Feuer has received the NYU-wide outstanding PhD dissertation award in the category of Science and Technology. In his PhD dissertation, Ben made fundamental contributions to the practice of building datasets and benchmarks for AI models in a wide array of domains. He was advised by Prof. Chinmay Hegde and graduated in Spring 2025. Currently working as a postdoc at Stanford, he continues to push these boundaries, while also being the driver of multiple open source AI initiatives.
