Giancarlo Pereira

Giancarlo Pereira is a Ph.D. student at NYU, where he works under the supervision of Daniele Panozzo and Claudio T. Silva. His research focuses on making 3D scanning easier, cheaper, and faster through data-driven methods while keeping it accurate and reliable.
Before NYU, he was a Physics Ph.D. student at Columbia University with Professor Abhay Pasupathy, where he worked in Cryogenic Atomic Force Microscopy. He graduated with a Master's degree in 2024 to join the Ph.D. at NYU.
