Seungeun is a PhD student at NYU advised by Julia Stoyanovich. Her research focuses on building interpretable and responsible AI grounded in both mathematics and data management. She completed her master’s in applied mathematics and studied mathematics and computer science and engineering as an undergraduate, both at Korea University. In her free time, she enjoys composing music and kickboxing.
